Dr. Shiu is a medical doctor from China and a licensed acupuncture physician in Florida. She has more than 20 years of experience in traditional Chinese medicine and additional experience in herbal medicine. Dr. Shiu has taught Chinese medicine in both China and the United States.
Dr. Shiu has successfully treated many conditions including auto accident and sports injuries that involved head, neck, back, arm, and leg pain. She also treats post-stroke patients, high blood pressure, women's health concerns, allergies, arthritis, digestive system disorders, and more.
In the past, she developed and operated a drug and alcohol program in Hillsborough County (DACCO). She has also successfully treated many types of addictions using auricular acupuncture. Her practice experience has allowed her to treat more than 200,000 patients. She continues to welcome new patients at this time.

She also treats women's medical issues, such as infertility. Last year, three of her patients were able to conceive due to her help.
Larry Lester, a lifelong resident of Florida, studied physical therapy after receiving a four-year degree in business administration. Subsequent to receiving his physical therapy degree, he continued his clinical education and was awarded a certificate in manual therapy as well as a doctorate degree from the world-renowned Institute of Physical Therapy in St. Augustine, Florida. His experience is diverse and includes sports medicine, orthopedics, acute care, rehabilitation, and pediatrics. Larry is also accepting new patients at this time.
Ellen is a nationally board certified Diplomat of Acupuncture and Acupuncture Physician who has been in practice for over 10 years. She is highly passionate about helping people heal and stay well. Ellen practices Traditional Chinese Medicine which includes acupuncture, cupping, massage therapy and herbal medicine. Her education and training was completed at the University of South Florida in Tampa and and East West College of Natural Medicine in Sarasota, FL where she earned her Master's degree in Oriental Medicine and Bachelor's degrees in both Biology and Professional Health Sciences.
Ellen enjoys educating her patients on the many benefits of acupuncture and introducing them to this system of holistic medicine. Not only is she skilled at treating all types of musculoskeletal pain syndromes, Ellen is successful at managing different autoimmune pathologies, allergies, asthma, gastrointestinal issues, women's health issues, and providing support during the treatment of various cancers and other chronic illnesses.
A native of Florida, Ellen has recently returned to the area with her husband after living and practicing in New Jersey for the past 8 years. Growing up in Florida and throughout her studies she has always maintained an interest in human physiology, health and wellness. She has been part of the team at the International Health Clinic since February 2017 and is currently accepting new patients.
Yu-Chia Lee is a registered and licensed occupational therapist in the state of Florida. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in chemistry from the University of Tampa in 2010. Later on, his pursuit for a career in healthcare profession lead him to complete his Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy at Florida Gulf Coast University in 2013.
Working with other health care professionals, he provides services to a diverse group of clients, pediatrics and adults, for them to reach their potentials toward independent living and promoting a healthy lifestyle. Beside English, Mr. Lee is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Spanish and German.
